About Us

Phylinks is a self-funded UK high technology company engaged in the design and supply of advanced communication IP cores for the semiconductor industry.

Founded by Antony Sou and Philip Hodgett in 2006, Phylinks were joined by industry expert Nabil Takla, CEO of Silicon Valley based Innovative Semiconductors Inc., who also invested in Phylinks.

Phylinks is at the leading edge of semiconductor design and innovation. Our advanced IP cores are designed using state of the art CAD tools running on the latest Linux workstations, and are manufactured in sub-micron technologies from the world's leading silicon foundries to achieve class leading small area and low power circuits meeting international standards.

Our designers are all experts in their fields. We have several patents between us in the fields of high speed circuit design and analog techniques. And our team continues to grow. In 2008, startup veteran Tony Palmer joined us as our new CEO, and Gary Johnson, ex-CEO of PortalPlayer, joined the Phylinks Board.
